BUSINESS PROBLEM
This utility company, providing both electricity and water, serves one of the fastest-growing cities in the United States. The company sought assistance with data ingestion and forecasting to improve its ability to predict utility and water usage. Accurate electricity utilization forecasts were critical to purchasing electricity at optimal prices. Additionally, the company needed to better track and identify excess water usage, which could stem from leaks, water theft, or unauthorized lawn watering during drought conditions.
SCALESOLOGY IN ACTION
Scalesology undertook several short-duration projects to support the utility company’s needs. These included creating data integration flows using SAS, migrating and redeploying Python scripts to production servers, and producing technical documentation of processes and workflows.
